A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as the Head of Supplier Quality & Development (SQD) for Aero Derivative Gas Turbines (AGT), where you will lead a dynamic global team dedicated to achieving supplier quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle. Imagine playing a pivotal role in AGT’s business growth by cultivating a resilient and performance-driven supply base that consistently meets quality, delivery, and cost expectations. You will collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management to proactively manage supplier risks, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape the supplier quality strategy, enhance organizational capability, and foster a culture of execution excellence, accountability, and customer focus.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Lead and develop a high-performing global Supplier Quality & Development organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive supplier quality excellence through robust qualification, industrialization, performance management, and proactive risk mitigation across the AGT supply chain.
  • Elevate team performance and execution excellence to support AGT business ramp-up, ensuring predictable supplier quality, delivery reliability, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams to enable business growth, resolve critical supplier challenges, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
  • Champion quality transformation through digitalization, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement of supplier quality processes, standards, and governance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams in Supplier Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply Chain related functions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and drive execution excellence in a global organization.
  • Strategic, data-driven, and customer-focused leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Up to 30% travel globally.
  • Preferred knowledge of rotor-machinery products and quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA.

Our function “Supplier Quality & Development” acts as a support to procurement and manufacturing with preventive and reactive measures. Our team operates globally across business areas and regions, providing standards and tools to ensure quality and delivery for all purchased goods.
