A Snapshot of Your Day
As Head of AI and Data Solutions within the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) business, you will lead the delivery, operation and evolution of the digital, AI and data solutions that support our global organisation. Reporting to the Head of Digital and Data Solutions, you will turn business priorities into scalable capabilities that improve operational performance, customer value and efficiency.
A major focus of the role will be defining and executing AGT's AI transformation roadmap. You will work with senior business leaders, IT, Data and wider Siemens Energy digital organisations to identify high-value use cases, scale successful solutions and embed AI-enabled ways of working across engineering, service delivery, operations and decision-making.
You will also lead multiple international teams across systems development, digital operations and software support, ensuring the digital portfolio is well governed, reliable and focused on delivering measurable business value.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Define and execute the AGT AI and Digital Systems roadmap, prioritising initiatives and investments that align with business strategy and deliver measurable operational or customer value.
- Lead the adoption and scaling of AI-enabled solutions across engineering, service delivery, operations and business decision-making.
- Own the performance, reliability and lifecycle management of AGT's digital systems and software solutions, from concept and deployment through to operational support and continuous improvement.
- Govern the digital portfolio, balancing strategic transformation, operational support, risk, resource capacity and business continuity while establishing clear KPIs and value measures.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex technical opportunities into clear business outcomes and building sponsorship for digital and AI initiatives.
- Lead and develop geographically distributed teams across systems development, digital operations and software support, building capability in AI, modern delivery practices and digital technologies.

What You Bring
- Significant experience leading digital transformation programmes, including the adoption and scaling of AI or other emerging digital capabilities within a complex organisation.
- Proven experience delivering and operating complex software, digital or technology solutions within operational, engineering or customer-facing environments.
- Strong experience developing technology roadmaps, governing digital portfolios and prioritising investment against business objectives, value and resource capacity.
- Demonstrable people leadership experience, including leading geographically distributed, multidisciplinary technical teams and developing other leaders.
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence business leaders, translate technical concepts into business value and drive organisational change and adoption.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered. Experience with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices is expected.
About The Team
Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We bring together gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and digital service solutions under one roof. Through modernization, digitalization and innovative service offerings, we support customers worldwide in improving reliability, efficiency and sustainability.
You will work within the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Digital and Data Solutions organisation, leading global teams responsible for AI, digital systems and software capabilities that support AGT. The function works closely with Data, IT, Engineering, Service Operations and wider Siemens Energy digital communities to deliver integrated solutions and accelerate digital and AI adoption.
