Head of AI Content Strategy
A global asset management firm is seeking a Head of AI Content Strategy to join its international marketing team. This is a newly created role focused on shaping how investment content is structured, governed and optimised for both traditional audiences and emerging AI-driven search and discovery platforms. Sitting at the intersection of content, digital and technology, you will lead the evolution of editorial standards, helping the business maximise content visibility, consistency and effectiveness across global markets. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how content is produced across an international organisation.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Defining and embedding editorial standards across the global content function
- Establishing frameworks for reusable, modular and scalable content creation
- Leading the integration of AEO, GEO and AI best practices into content production processes
- Developing content structures, metadata and taxonomy standards to improve discoverability and governance
- Translating AI search trends, citation data and performance insights into actionable content recommendations
- Driving adoption of AI-enabled tools and content workflows across marketing teams
- Building and maintaining messaging frameworks in partnership with investment, content and client-facing teams
- Acting as a subject matter expert on content transformation, supporting regional and affiliate marketing teams
- Overseeing major awareness and thought leadership initiatives, ensuring content is optimised for modern digital consumption
- Collaborating with digital, UX, compliance and PR teams to maintain consistency across markets and channels
- Managing external content partners, agencies and freelance contributors where required
- Championing content quality, governance and continuous improvement across the organisation

The ideal candidate should have:
- Significant experience in content marketing, editorial leadership or communications within financial services
- Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO and the impact of AI on content discovery and distribution
- Experience creating editorial frameworks, governance models and content standards
- Strong knowledge of asset management products and investment markets
- Understanding of retail, wholesale and institutional investor audiences
- Experience working with content management, workflow and marketing technology platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and optimise content accordingly
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working across international teams
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a regulated environment and balancing commercial objectives with governance requirements
