We're building something genuinely exciting at Mattioli Woods - and we need a leader to shape the Data and AI capability that underpins it.
As our Head of AI & Data, you'll own the combined strategy for enterprise data and artificial intelligence across one of the UK's leading wealth management groups. This isn't two jobs bolted together - it's one because we know data quality is the single biggest unlock for AI outcomes, and we want someone who gets both.
The opportunity
What we’re looking for:
- Senior leadership experience in a data and/or AI function, ideally in financial services or another regulated environment
- A clear point of view on AI strategy - not just what's possible, but what's right for a business like ours
- Strong track record of improving data quality and building robust data platforms
- The credibility to influence at ExCo level and the pragmatism to get things delivered

- You'll set the direction for how we govern, structure and use data across the business - improving the foundations and building something our people and clients can rely on. At the same time, you'll lead our AI agenda: shaping which tools, platforms and partnerships we invest in, and making sure AI delivery creates real-world impact, not just demos.
- You'll lead a growing team (including our dedicated AI delivery capability) and work closely with colleagues, specifically in Finance, Operations and the wider Tech leadership group to make enterprise data a genuine competitive advantage.
