About LEC AI
LEC AI is an applied AI company within LEC Group, whose parent — London Export Corporation — has been trading internationally since 1951.
We build Donnie, the organisational intelligence platform: always-on organisational memory that unifies voice, email, calendar, documents, messages, CRM and meetings into one live context an entire department can query. Donnie entered production in 2026, and Bishop, our data intelligence layer, followed.
We are a small team in London shipping to real enterprises, which means the work you do reaches people who depend on it quickly.
About the Role
You will own and run our AI marketing platform end to end. The platform is in production today: it finds, cuts, captions and publishes short-form video at volume across multiple platforms and brands. Around it sit connected systems in active build — an editing intelligence trained on documented human editing judgement, a multi-account content distribution and monetisation operation, and an affiliate revenue programme. A larger autonomous agent platform will ship into our AI marketing platform as its delivery surface.
You inherit a working codebase, a small team of engineers and interns, live revenue workstreams and a defined roadmap. You will lead it by building the hardest parts yourself.
What you will own
- The platform - Architecture, reliability and roadmap of the core platform, designed so that every capability is available both to the people using it and to automated agents.
- Video production at scale - The end-to-end automated pipeline that turns long-form footage into finished, captioned short-form clips at high daily volume.
- Editing intelligence - The models, evaluation systems and training data that allow the platform to learn and apply professional editorial judgement.
- Distribution and monetisation - Multi-account publishing across the major social platforms, commerce and affiliate integration, and revenue tracking by clip and by channel.
- The team - A small group of engineers and interns who ship weekly. You set the standard by example.

What we are looking for
- 4–10 years of hands-on engineering experience, including time as a founding engineer, CTO or clear technical lead.
- You have built this kind of product before — a content, creator-economy, marketing-technology or media-automation product that shipped to real users.
- Senior full-stack delivery across Python and TypeScript. You ship production code daily, can personally build any module in our stack, and have been the strongest engineer on the teams you have led.
- API-first platform architecture, shipped — systems where every capability is an endpoint, writes are idempotent and every action is traceable end to end, designed that way from the start rather than retrofitted.
- Production LLM and agent systems — agentic pipelines, structured tool use, evaluation loops or multi-model judgement systems that ran in production, not notebooks. Experience serving open models on your own hardware, and fluency with the current open-model ecosystem including the leading Chinese model families, is a strong advantage.
- Video and media pipeline fluency — hands-on with speech recognition, FFmpeg-class processing and rendering at volume, enough to architect it, build in it and review a specialist's work.
- Real experience with publishing platforms — multi-account posting against TikTok, Meta, YouTube or similar production APIs, including schedulers, post-time workers, OAuth token management, rate limits and review processes.
- Revenue instrumentation — you have built the systems that trace content to revenue, including tracked links, attribution and per-item cost and revenue, and you prioritise engineering against what earns first.
- Small-team leadership with velocity — you have led teams of three to eight engineers while remaining the most productive builder on them, and the people you worked with would say the team moved faster because you built alongside them.
