Head of AI Solutions

As Head of AI Solutions, you will be the senior technical leader responsible for Vector8’s AI excellence in the UK. You embody our deepest subject-matter expertise in machine learning, advanced analytics, GenAI, and scalable AI engineering. Your role is part visionary, part architect, part leader, and part ambassador for Vector8’s thought leadership.

You shape end-to-end AI solution design and guide the successful delivery of robust, secure, and scalable AI solutions across complex enterprise environments. You play a pivotal role in pre-sales, executive conversations, technical storytelling, and thought leadership, helping clients understand what’s possible and why.

Working closely with our Cloud & Enterprise Architecture and Data & AI Solution Architecture leaders, you help create the integrated technical foundation that enables AI to scale far beyond individual use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead UK from a Technical Perspective

  • Serve as the senior technical counterpart for executives and technology leaders in Retail, Banking, Insurance, and other industries.
  • Architect and oversee end-to-end AI solutions that are secure, resilient, explainable, and scalable.
  • Guide decision-making across the full AI lifecycle—from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.

Broader Strategic Contribution

  • As part of the most senior level of our technical team, reporting to the Chief AI Officer, you will bring input and action to our group technology strategy including IP development and recommendations to improve our propositions, capabilities and/or services.

Shape & Deliver Enterprise-Scale AI Solutions

  • Design complex AI/ML/GenAI solutions, including data pipelines, ML workflows, GenAI agents, evaluation frameworks, and production architectures.
  • Be hands-on when needed: prototype models, validate architectures, review code, and steer engineering direction.
  • Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with enterprise architectures, cloud environments, and security frameworks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
