Role Overview
As an innovative global digital transformation consultancy, we are transitioning to an "AI First" mandate, positioning artificial intelligence as the default solution for both our internal operations and our clients' business challenges. To lead this evolution, we are hiring a high velocity, hands-on Head of AI Solutions.
In this newly created senior role, you will lead Aqovia's overarching AI strategy, driving vision, execution, and commercial impact. Your mandate is simple, leverage AI to optimise operational efficiency and maximise profitability. Serving as our primary problem solver, you will eliminate operational bottlenecks and partner with teams to engineer, build, and execute scalable, AI native solutions from initial proof of concept to production across our consultancy and client initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Systematically analyse internal operational pain points and deploy concrete AI solutions (LLM workflows, autonomous agents, predictive models) to solve them.
- Serve as the CEO’s primary catalyst for bottomline efficiency, systematically removing manual processes across every corporate function.
- Design AI tools to automate project costings, track sales pipelines, optimise margin management, automate invoicing/billing workflows, and eliminate manual timesheet friction.
- Partner with existing and prospective enterprise clients to diagnose complex organisational friction and demonstrate how AI solves their specific business challenges.
- Advise and join C-suite sales conversations as the primary technical and strategic AI expert, converting complex AI capabilities into high margin commercial engagements.
- Architect reusable AI frameworks, proof of concepts (POCs), and deployment roadmaps that clients can implement rapidly.
- Directly contribute to win rates by proving to clients that our consultancy operates on, and delivers, cutting edge AI capabilities.
- Master the macro vision of enterprise AI while maintaining granular technical depth, testing prompts, building agentic flows, and validating technical feasibility.
- Maximise Aqovia's bottom line through strict internal expense tracking and accelerate top line growth through strategic external revenue generation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
