Head of Analytics & Business Insights
Salary – up to £80K plus benefits
Hybrid - West Midlands
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a significant and market-leading business as Head of Analytics & Business Insights, partnering closely with the Senior Leadership & Executive team.
In this newly created role, the remit will be to improve margin, inform pricing decisions, enhance competitiveness and customer value across the business by leveraging, analysing and collating internal information relating to; pricing data, margin insight and external marketing understanding to challenge performance and drive commercial strategic decisions.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Identification of pricing opportunities
- Market & Industry insight
- Commercial challenge and action planning
- Highlighting risk and concern
- Dashboard creation & reporting
- Data quality & governance
- Tracking opportunities
- Driving the use of insight across the commercial teams so that trends, risks and opportunities are actioned

The successful candidate:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Strong stakeholder management ability across commercial, category, finance and data teams.
- Experience in Power BI, data analysis and data analysis tools with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insight.
- Experience working with pricing, product, customer, sales and financial data with a strong understanding of margin, discounting, competitiveness and commercial performance.
- Ability to interpret external market trends and industry movement.
- An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail.

This role does not have a large team reporting directly but does require a candidate with the ability to engage the support of the central finance team and analysts to deliver the required outputs.
This is a hybrid role (typically 3 days in the office).
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent full-time basis without the requirement for sponsorship.
