The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Applications to lead a substantial enterprise applications function within a large, complex organisation undergoing significant technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Applications function and its people.
- Own and evolve a complex enterprise applications estate.
- Drive the transition towards product-centric, agile delivery.
- Partner closely with Architecture, Infrastructure, Data, Delivery, and business leadership.
- Lead applications through significant transformation and modernisation.
- Manage relationships with MSPs, contractors, and specialist technology partners.
- Build strong relationships with senior business and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure applications strategy aligns with wider business and technology objectives.

About You
We are looking for a high-calibre Applications leader with experience operating in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
You Will Ideally Bring
- Strong enterprise Applications leadership experience.
- Experience managing complex application estates and large-scale transformation.
- Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, and/or GIS.
- Experience building agile, product-focused teams.
- Excellent stakeholder and executive influencing skills.
- Strong commercial and supplier management capability.
- A proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
