About our DDaT Services team

We recognise that DDaT is no longer simply an enabler of policing; it is a strategic capability at the heart of how we protect communities, empower our workforce and deliver better public services. As we evolve from a traditional ICT function into a modern, user-centred DDaT organisation, we're embracing cloud technologies, automation, AI, data and digital innovation to create smarter, more connected and resilient services. About the role

As Head of Architecture, you will set the enterprise architecture direction for Wiltshire Police, shaping secure, resilient and future-ready digital, data and technology services. As the organisation’s senior architectural authority and Chair of the Technical Design Authority, you will influence major technology decisions, guide cloud modernisation, strengthen architectural governance and help reduce complexity across the technology landscape. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape digital policing locally, regionally and nationally, ensuring technology enables better operational outcomes and lasting public value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
