The role:

You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Engineering Management team. Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military collective training.
The Head of Transformation and Change will lead the Transformation and Change workstream within the OMNIA Training programme team. You will be responsible for leading the Transformation and Change personnel and processes. This senior position is critical to the successful transformation of the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) and is part of the Senior Leadership Team of Omnia Training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for the Transformation and innovation services
- Oversee the development, delivery and management of the Monitoring, Innovating, Acquiring and Configuring (MIAC) Services.
- Shape and influence the future of Army collective training, ensuring alignment with Defence-wide transformation objectives.
- Act as the senior advisor to the Omnia Managing Director and Leadership Team on all transformation and change.
- Maintain a technology overwatch to drive innovation to ensure an integrated and cohesive transformation across collective training delivery, doctrine, data, infrastructure, and people.
- Develop and implement change management strategies that support adoption and sustainability of new capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with business goals.
- Oversee the design, integration, and implementation of technical solutions across the programme.
- Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance standards are met throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on transformation progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.
Who we are looking for:
We’re after individuals who want to serve. You’ll have a mission focus, and the enthusiasm and drive to ‘get things done’. You’ll want to work in collaboration with other defence training organisations, and the British Army. You won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of what needs to be done, you’ll learn lessons and share these lessons across the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong background in technology leadership and specifically understanding the technology and market for Land training systems.
- Understanding and experience working within land training in the UK, or overseas
- Experience working with innovative technologies and delivering new and novel technology to end-users
- Deep understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence organisations and teams.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation and change programmes in complex environments.
- Professional certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG), Programme Management (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2), or Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and digital transformation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and systems integration.
- Ability to foster innovation and drive cultural change within large organisations.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party delivery partners, both large defence Primes, and SMEs.
