Role Description
The Head of Artificial Intelligence will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI capabilities that power Look at you go’s core product experience. This full-time remote role involves setting the AI strategy, defining technical roadmaps, and building systems that extract meaningful insights from user input using NLP, pattern recognition, and related techniques. - Overseeing model research and experimentation
- Guiding the architecture of AI services
- Collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to translate user needs into scalable AI-driven features

The person in this role will:
- Establish best practices for data quality, model evaluation, and responsible AI
- Grow and mentor a multidisciplinary AI team
- Stay current with advances in AI and recommend partnerships, tools, and frameworks that help the company deliver reliable, user-centric intelligence at scale
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, with experience in designing and implementing scalable software and AI systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Data Science, including data modeling, experimentation, and building data pipelines for training and evaluating models.
- Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and applied machine learning, with a track record of building production-grade models and algorithms.
- Advanced experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text understanding, summarization, and information extraction from unstructured content.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision or related multimodal AI methods, ideally applied to document or interface analysis.
- Experience leading technical teams or initiatives, with the ability to set strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and mentor AI and engineering talent.
- Proficiency in modern ML frameworks and languages (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and in cloud-based deployment environments.
- Commitment to responsible and ethical AI practices, including privacy-aware data handling, bias mitigation, and transparent model evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across product, design, engineering, and business functions in a remote environment.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
