Head of Asset Management & Investment
Eastlight Community Homes is looking for a Head of Asset Management & Investment to join the organisation on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Eastlight's strategic approach to asset management, investment and sustainability, ensuring our homes remain safe, sustainable, affordable to maintain and responsive to the evolving needs of our customers.
You will play a pivotal role in optimising the long-term performance of Eastlight's assets, directing investment to where it delivers the greatest value and leading the delivery of our decarbonisation ambitions.
The role also offers the opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Eastlight's Asset Management Strategy, investment plans and sustainability roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, customer needs and financial capacity.
You will provide strategic leadership across asset management, investment, surveying, sustainability, and data and intelligence functions, driving a high-performing culture focused on delivering excellent customer outcomes.
You will also oversee long-term investment planning, regeneration and stock rationalisation programmes, asset performance modelling and procurement strategies, while ensuring robust governance around cost, quality, safety, risk and value for money.

Responsibilities
- Lead Eastlight's strategic approach to asset management, investment and sustainability.
- Optimise the long-term performance of Eastlight's assets.
- Direct investment to where it delivers the greatest value.
- Lead the delivery of Eastlight's decarbonisation ambitions.
- Develop and deliver Eastlight's Asset Management Strategy, investment plans and sustainability roadmap.
- Provide strategic leadership across asset management, investment, surveying, sustainability, and data and intelligence functions.
- Oversee long-term investment planning, regeneration and stock rationalisation programmes.
- Ensure robust governance around cost, quality, safety, risk and value for money.
- Champion the use of asset data and insight to inform investment decisions.
- Strengthen regulatory assurance and support effective performance management across the organisation.

Requirements
- Significant experience in strategic asset management, property investment and long-term programme planning within a complex and regulated environment.
- Proven track record of developing asset strategies, leading large-scale investment programmes and delivering initiatives that achieve strong returns on investment.
- Experience in financial modelling, business case development, programme delivery and leading organisational change.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with customers, the Executive Management Team, Board members, regulators and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the challenges facing the housing sector, regulatory frameworks and governance requirements.
- Ability to use data, insight and evidence to support strategic decision-making.
