At Bron Afon, our ambition is clear: to provide a quality home and a safe place to live. To help us deliver on this promise, we’re looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Asset Strategy & Investment to lead our asset management and housing investment programmes.

Overseeing £22m+ in annual investment activity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term investment planning, ensuring full compliance with WHQS 2023, and driving the effective regeneration of our homes and estates.

About the Role

As a key member of Bron Afon’s Senior Leadership Group, you will:

  • Lead Strategic Investment: Oversee the preparation, planning, and delivery of our asset management programmes, including WHQS 2023, while championing health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive Data-Led Asset Management: Bring a data-led, flexible approach to optimize asset performance, create efficiencies, and unlock greater investment potential across our existing asset base.
  • Shape Regeneration: Work collaboratively with our Development and Housing teams to support estate regeneration through tactical disposals, acquisitions, and remodelling.
  • Commercial & Financial Oversight: Apply strong commercial awareness, financial modelling, and contract management to maximize property performance and value for money.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Collaborate across service areas and our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to build seamless end-to-end customer experiences and embed sustainability into our asset strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
