Head of Audience & Insights | Live Events | London | Permanent

We are working with an established live events organisation to find a Head of Audience & Insights to lead its approach to understanding and connecting with audiences, and leveraging data and insights.

This is a senior role for someone who enjoys turning audience and commercial data into clear recommendations and action. You will work across marketing, ticketing and wider commercial teams, helping the organisation better understand its audiences and improve performance.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage the Audience and Insights team and improve outcomes through refining of data systems, integrations and working practices.
  • Build a clear understanding of audiences through data, analytics and research, turning findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead audience segmentation and targeting across tours and campaigns to improve engagement and marketing ROI.
  • Analyse campaign and ticket sales performance, using forecasting and advanced analytics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that make complex data accessible and useful to teams and senior stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in audience insight, analytics or data led marketing.
  • A background in live events, entertainment, ticketing or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of audience segmentation and digital analytics and paid media.
  • Experience working with ticketing, CRM and reporting platforms.
  • The ability to translate data into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Experience managing or developing a team.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders across different areas of a business.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI and GA4 would be useful, as would an understanding of audience research, data governance and emerging technology.

The opportunity: This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established audience and insights function within a growing live events organisation. You will have the scope to shape how audience insight is used across the business and influence marketing and commercial decision making.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary: c. £55k depending on experience
  • Location & working pattern: Central London, 3 days in the office
