Head of AWS Technology

We're looking for a Head of AWS Technology to join our team in the UK in a hybrid working mode. This is a senior leadership role that combines technical depth, architectural authority, and commercial responsibility to shape and grow EPAM’s AWS practice. You will set the vision, lead solution design and be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, well-architected solutions.

Acting as a key technical partner with AWS, you will drive adoption of AI and GenAI services, establish engineering excellence and mentor a team of senior architects. This role requires a hands-on understanding of AWS architectures and the ability to influence technology strategy across multiple clients and sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical vision, architecture standards and engineering practices for the AWS practice
  • Lead adoption of AI and GenAI capabilities on AWS, including Bedrock, SageMaker and RAG patterns
  • Provide hands-on technical oversight on complex engagements and ensure quality delivery
  • Establish and nurture the AWS partnership through competencies, programs and joint go-to-market initiatives
  • Build, mentor and lead a high-performing team of AWS architects and engineers
  • Drive pre-sales and solution design for major AWS opportunities
  • Create thought leadership, reusable assets and propositions that differentiate EPAM in the cloud market
  • Ensure alignment between architectural solutions, security standards and client business goals

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
