Head of B2C Growth
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of B2C Growth based in United Kingdom.
As Head of B2C Growth, you will own the full B2C growth engine, from acquisition and activation through retention, reactivation, and lifetime value. You will develop multichannel strategies across search, paid social, email, push, web, and app, with a strong focus on making the app the primary user channel. A key part of the role is connecting early-stage real estate research with high-intent property searches and agent engagement. You will own the growth budget, guide paid media specialists, and use data to make clear investment decisions across markets and channels. The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, experimentation, and close collaboration with Product and Marketing teams. You will also help build the growth infrastructure and playbooks needed to test in 2027 and scale significantly in 2028.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute the B2C growth strategy across channels, markets, user segments, and budgets, using performance data to guide investment decisions.
- Build and optimize multichannel acquisition programs, testing new channels and scaling successful initiatives while tracking CPL, CAC, payback, and other key metrics.
- Create a stronger connection between educational research content and high-intent property searches, helping users progress from initial research to listings and agent contact.
- Make the mobile app a core growth channel by driving installs, adoption, engagement, retention, and migration from web to app.
- Own the full user lifecycle, including activation, conversion, retention, reactivation, and LTV, identifying drop-off points and improving the user journey.
- Manage database growth and engagement through segmentation, nurturing, reactivation, email, push notifications, and in-app communication.
- Design and run rapid experiments across landing pages, onboarding, messaging, offers, and other growth levers, with clear measurement and actionable conclusions.
- Lead and develop paid media specialists by setting goals, reviewing performance, and raising execution standards without micromanaging.
- Partner closely with Product and nurturing teams to prioritize initiatives that improve conversion and lead qualification.
- Prepare the growth engine for future international scaling, including market selection, channel strategy, creative, tracking, and performance infrastructure.
- Develop reusable growth playbooks and AI-powered workflows that enable both the team and AI agents to execute consistently.
- Maintain direct contact with users and personally engage with the underlying data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements
- Proven track record of growing B2C products with a significant user base across multiple channels and markets, ideally within a marketplace, portal, app, or similar environment.
- Broad multichannel growth experience, with ownership of several acquisition and lifecycle channels rather than specialization in a single advertising channel.
- Demonstrated experience driving app growth, including both user acquisition and long-term retention.
- Strong understanding of cohorts, user lifecycles, segmentation, retention, reactivation, and lifetime value.
- Strong product sense and the ability to connect product changes with measurable improvements in conversion and user behavior.
- Experience owning paid media budgets and being directly accountable for performance, return on investment, and commercial outcomes.
- Hands-on operating style with the ability to build strategies, launch campaigns, analyze performance, and make decisions without relying heavily on agencies or intermediaries.
- Advanced AI fluency, with substantial practical experience using Claude, including Cowork and Code, building skills, and orchestrating AI agents and workflows.
- Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to identify what is working, stop ineffective initiatives, and make decisions even when perfect testing conditions are unavailable.
- High ownership and accountability from initial brief through measurable results, with minimal reliance on handoffs.
- Leadership skills to develop specialists, improve execution quality, and create a high-performance environment without micromanagement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex performance insights clearly and directly.
- Fluent English required; French or Spanish is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree may be preferred but is not required; demonstrated results and relevant experience are valued more highly than academic credentials.
