Head of Bidding – Waste Management | UK-wide | Strategic, High-Impact Role | £70,000

If you’re a seasoned bidding leader from the waste management sector who loves shaping strategy, influencing senior stakeholders, and winning complex tenders — this is a role where you can genuinely make your mark.

We’re looking for a Head of Bidding to take ownership of the full tender lifecycle, driving win strategies for projects typically ranging from £1m to £10m+ across public and private sectors. You’ll sit at the heart of the commercial engine: qualifying opportunities, steering bid teams, and ensuring every submission is sharp, compliant, and compelling.

This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, brings discipline to the process, and knows how to turn procurement complexity into competitive advantage.

🌍 Why this role matters

Waste management is a sector where procurement is evolving fast — tighter regulation, more scrutiny, more innovation. We need someone who can read the landscape early, shape opportunities before they fully form, and bring a strategic lens to every bid decision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
