Job Description
About the team
The Global Marketing team is responsible for building the Castrol brand, driving growth and creating consistent, high-impact marketing across our markets and customer segments. The team works closely with Performance Unit marketing leaders, local markets, commercial teams, agencies and global functions to strengthen the Castrol Masterbrand and identify new sources of value. This role sits on the Global Marketing Leadership Team, reports to the Global CMO and leads a global and diverse team with responsibility across masterbrand, sponsorships, adjacencies and marketing capability.
Key tasks
- Lead the global Castrol masterbrand strategy, including brand positioning, architecture, identity, social channels, websites and brand governance across markets
- Define and lead Castrol’s global sponsorship strategy, ensuring major partnerships are effectively activated and deliver measurable commercial and brand value
- Manage a significant global sponsorship portfolio and work with markets to maximise the value of sponsorship rights, assets and investment
- Lead the development of growth opportunities beyond the core lubricants business
- Guide global marketing communications and agency activity, working closely with markets and the Marketing Hub to improve consistency, effectiveness and efficiency
- Support marketing priorities associated with separation and post-Day 1 stabilisation, including TSA exits and transition workstreams.
- Define and develop the Marketing Capability framework, strengthening capability and career development across the global marketing community.

Experience Required
- Significant senior marketing leadership experience within a large, complex or multinational organisation, preferably FMCG, CPG, Automotive.
- Strong experience developing and governing brand strategy across multiple markets
- Experience operating across consumer and B2B or B2B2C environments
- Strong commercial judgement, with experience using marketing effectiveness, ROI and investment data to make prioritisation decisions
- Experience managing significant marketing investments, sponsorships, partnerships and global agency relationships
- Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across markets, functions and geographies in a matrix environment
- Strong people leadership experience, including leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
