About This Role
As Brand Manager, you'll own how FlyForward shows up in the world; not just visually, but in voice, positioning, and perception. You'll set the strategic direction for the brand, ensuring every touchpoint, from a single social post to a major campaign, reflects who we are and builds trust with the people we exist to serve.
Responsibilities
- Define and own FlyForward's brand strategy, positioning, voice, and messaging framework.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across visual identity, tone, and messaging.
- Lead the planning and execution of brand campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
- Partner with the Communications team to translate organisational goals and key messages into a coherent brand narrative.
- Guide and collaborate with the Brand Ambassador (Visual) and other creative contributors to ensure output aligns with brand strategy.
- Monitor brand performance and perception, using feedback and data to refine positioning over time.
- Act as the internal gatekeeper for brand consistency, reviewing materials from across the organisation before they go external.
- Identify partnership, sponsorship, or co-branding opportunities that raise FlyForward's profile.
- Stay on top of sector trends and competitor positioning to keep FlyForward's brand distinctive and relevant.

Requirements

- Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or a related strategic communications role.
- A strong track record of building or evolving a brand identity, ideally for a mission-driven or nonprofit organisation.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape and protect a consistent brand voice.
- Experience briefing and collaborating with designers, photographers, or video editors to bring brand strategy to life visually.
- Familiarity with brand guideline development (colour, typography, tone of voice, messaging pillars).
- Comfortable working across multiple channels and formats; social media, web, print, and events.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to keep cross-functional work aligned and on schedule.
- Analytical mindset, with experience using engagement or brand-perception data to inform decisions.
- A genuine interest in and alignment with FlyForward's mission.
