As Head of Brand, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how customers, partners and the wider market experience our brand. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you'll be responsible for building a distinctive brand that drives commercial growth, leading integrated brand and communications programmes, and ensuring our brand is brought to life consistently across every touchpoint. You'll lead a high-performing team, influence senior stakeholders across the business, and help translate our ambitious growth plans into compelling stories and experiences that customers love.
Here's what our VP of Marketing had to say:
"This is one of the most exciting marketing leadership opportunities in the business right now. You'll join at a time when we're investing heavily in our brand, expanding our proposition and raising the bar across marketing. Working directly with me, you'll have the freedom to shape our brand strategy, build a world-class Brand & Content function, and drive work that has a measurable impact on growth. You'll be surrounded by ambitious people, have visibility across the executive team, and play a key role in defining how millions of customers experience our brand in the years ahead."
What You'll Do:
- Lead and Deliver Brand Strategy - You’ll partner with the VP Marketing to define and evolve a clear brand strategy that supports business objectives and long-term growth ambitions. Ensure brand investment is aligned to measurable commercial outcomes and contributes meaningfully across the marketing funnel
- Drive Full-Funnel Marketing Excellence - You’ll partner closely with the acquisition marketing team to deliver integrated full-funnel campaigns that connect brand awareness, consideration, acquisition and customer engagement. Ensure creative, media and content strategies work seamlessly together to maximise impact
- Act as a Brand Custodian - You'll own Pod's brand identity, positioning, tone of voice and visual expression, and you'll hold final approval on how they're used. Champion brand consistency and ensure the brand is embedded across customer experiences, products, communications and internal culture
- Bring the Brand to every launch - You’ll develop and execute brand and communications strategies for significant product, service and market launches, working closely with the rest of Marketing and our Product team. Translate complex propositions into compelling customer stories that drive engagement, awareness and adoption
- Lead Brand Narrative and Storytelling - You'll own Pod's brand narrative. What we stand for, what we say and why it matters. You'll work closely with our External Relations Lead, who owns corporate communications, press and policy. Build compelling narratives that strengthen brand credibility and support business growth
- Inspire Outstanding Creative Work - You’ll set the standard for creative excellence across all brand outputs. Provide clear direction, constructive challenge and strategic leadership to internal teams and external agency partners to ensure consistently high-quality work
- Manage Agency and Partner Relationships - You’ll lead relationships with creative, media, and content agencies. Ensure partners deliver against objectives, maintain high standards and continually improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Build and Develop a High-Performing Team - You’ll lead, coach and develop the Brand & Content team, creating an environment that encourages creativity, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Champion Insights and Measurement - You’ll leverage customer insights, market research and performance data to inform brand decisions. Establish clear measurement frameworks that demonstrate the impact of brand activity on commercial performance and business outcomes
- Influence at Executive Level - You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the business. Influence key stakeholders, align teams around brand priorities and drive a customer-centric mindset across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
