An experienced Head of Build to Rent / Build to Rent Director is sought to develop and lead a new Build to Rent and Institutional division for an innovative property business based in Central London. This is a senior leadership role with genuine scope to shape the future direction of the department.

Working with the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing, growing and leading the Build to Rent function from the ground up. You will use your industry knowledge, established network and proven instruction-winning ability to secure new business, build long-term client relationships and create a successful, high-performing department.
This role is ideally suited to an ambitious BTR specialist looking to make a significant impact within a growing business. – Our client will only consider candidates with previous Build to Rent experience initially.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as Head of Build to Rent:
- Establish and develop the Build to Rent and Institutional division from the ground up
- Win new Build to Rent instructions through existing relationships, networking and business development activity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, developers and Build to Rent operators
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the department and increase market share
- Lead negotiations, oversee key client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to shape business strategy and drive commercial growth
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- Extensive Build to Rent and Institutional PRS experience is essential
- Proven track record of winning Build to Rent instructions and generating new business
- Strong network of contacts across the Build to Rent and institutional investment sectors
- Experience establishing, developing or significantly growing a Build to Rent function
- Commercially astute with a strategic approach to business development
- Outstanding relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and capable of working autonomously
- Ambitious professional looking to play a key role in the long-term growth of a progressive property business
