Leasehold Block Management
Hyperion Partners is recruiting on behalf of a leading residential managing agent for a Head of Risk & Governance to lead the organisation's approach to compliance, regulatory risk, and governance across its managed portfolio.
This is a newly enhanced, senior leadership role for a business that takes its regulatory and safety obligations seriously — ideal for a risk and governance professional who wants genuine influence at leadership level, not just a compliance-tracking function.
The Role
As Head of Risk & Governance, you'll take ownership of the organisation's risk framework and governance structure at a critical time for the block and estate management sector, shaped by the Building Safety Act 2022 and the wider regulatory shift toward accountability and transparency in property management. You'll work closely with the senior leadership team, operational directors, and external stakeholders to ensure the business is not just compliant, but ahead of the curve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
