Head of Business Compliance Risk
At MotoNovo Finance, we're continuing to strengthen our first-line risk capability and are looking for an experienced Head of Business Compliance Risk to join our senior leadership team.
This is a high-profile opportunity to shape how regulatory risk, compliance and product governance are embedded across the business. You'll play a critical role in ensuring we deliver great customer outcomes, meet evolving regulatory expectations and maintain robust governance throughout the product lifecycle.
Working closely with the Director of Risk, Motor, alongside senior stakeholders across the business, you'll provide strategic leadership on regulatory risk, compliance advisory activity and Consumer Duty, helping MotoNovo confidently design, distribute and maintain customer-centric products.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading MotoNovo's first-line regulatory risk strategy, ensuring effective oversight of compliance and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Providing expert regulatory advice and challenge across products, business change and strategic initiatives.
- Owning Product Governance and championing Consumer Duty to deliver fair customer outcomes.
- Translating regulatory change into practical business actions, overseeing implementation and managing associated risk.
- Producing regulatory risk insight, reporting and governance updates for senior stakeholders and committees.
- Building strong relationships across the business and representing MotoNovo in regulatory and industry forums

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced regulatory leader with deep technical knowledge and strong stakeholder management skills. You'll bring:
- Significant experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory risk, product governance or first-line advisory roles within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework, including Consumer Duty and wider conduct and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to interpret complex regulation and translate it into practical, commercially viable business solutions.
- Confidence influencing, advising and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for a range of audiences.
- Experience engaging with regulators and industry bodies, alongside a collaborative approach and passion for delivering positive customer outcomes
