We're looking for a Head of Business Development to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a competitive package and is a remote position but must have access to London.

What you will be doing

  • Set and deliver the Business Development strategy and sales targets for learning products across the Authorised Training Employer (ATE) portfolio, including leading the promotion and positioning of the ACA qualification
  • Implement and continuously refine robust, relationship-based sales practices across the team, ensuring alignment with best practice, market insight and client feedback
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of regional Business Development Managers (BDMs), setting clear KPIs and driving strong pipeline development and performance
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with key ATEs, acting as an escalation point for strategic accounts while identifying new business opportunities and growth segments using market insight, performance data and client intelligence
  • Work cross-functionally with regional teams, product, marketing and hubs to ensure learning products meet evolving ATE needs, are effectively positioned in the market and support commercial growth objectives
  • Own and report on sales pipeline, forecasting and revenue performance, providing insight, challenge and recommendations to achieve growth targets, while representing the organisation externally with senior stakeholders and contributing to the member value proposition

What you will need

  • Proven track record in b2b sales/business development leadership ideally selling learning/ training or professional development
  • Proven track record in b2b sales/business development leadership ideally selling learning/ training or professional development
  • Experience managing and developing a remote, geographically dispersed sales team
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning revenue targets and pipeline reporting
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic
  • Role will required UK wide travel: current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
