We are looking for a proven and ambitious Head of Business Development to help drive our business forward.

The SELDOC Group has provided healthcare for more than 30 years through SELDOC Healthcare and Verve Healthcare. Our Board has approved a five-year strategy to diversify our urgent and primary care services.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the CEO and joining our Executive Team, you will deliver our business-development plan, generate opportunities, build senior customer relationships and maintain an “always-on” pipeline. You will identify new customers, markets, partnerships and services, execute sales campaigns, lead bids, negotiate contracts and support mobilisation.

Who we are looking for

You will combine passion, capability and humility, bringing:

  • Evidence of delivering new-business strategies that generated revenues exceeding £1 million.
  • Experience building customer-relationship plans and nurturing senior corporate relationships.
  • Success leading sales activity, executing campaigns and delivering outcomes.
  • Experience creating and delivering complex tender responses on time.
  • Strong commercial judgement, pipeline management and negotiation skills.
  • Senior leadership experience within an organisation with multimillion-pound revenues.
  • Deep healthcare knowledge, including NHS operations, protocols and decision-making—or the ability to develop it quickly.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on delivery.
