Head of Business Development - Europe

UK/ Europe

Wet Processing/ Recycling Aggregate Capital Equipment

You already know how to grow a capital equipment business across multiple countries. You have led salespeople, developed dealer networks, worked directly with major customers, and understand that selling complete processing solutions is very different from selling individual machines.

This role gives you ownership of a well-established European business development operation, leading an experienced team across a significant region with plenty of opportunity to grow.

You will cover key markets across Europe, working with customers in aggregates, quarrying, construction materials, and recycling.

The job

  • Lead and develop the European business development team
  • Drive sales growth across key European markets
  • Build and strengthen dealer and distributor relationships
  • Develop strategic relationships with major aggregate, quarrying, and recycling customers
  • Support complex, high-value capital equipment and turnkey processing projects
  • Work closely with engineering, applications, and project teams
  • Identify new markets, customers, and commercial opportunities
  • Develop the team while maintaining strong commercial accountability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
