Head of Business Development

International Markets | Northern Ireland / UK / Europe | Flexible / Remote

A fast-scaling engineering business is delivering sustainable wet-processing solutions to customers across the global recycling, aggregates and industrial materials markets. As the business enters its next phase of international expansion, we are now looking to appoint a Head of Business Development to lead global revenue growth, develop strategic markets and build a high-performing partner network.

This is a senior, entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership, influence and the chance to shape how an engineering business grows internationally. This isn't simply about managing an existing sales territory. You'll be building the market, the partnerships and the commercial strategy for the next stage of growth.

The Role

As Head of Business Development, you will take responsibility for developing new markets, identifying major commercial opportunities and establishing strategic regional partnerships across key international territories.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
