WHO WE ARE | WHAT WE DO

At Yodo1, we don’t just grow games—we help turn them into household names.

With billions of downloads across our portfolio, we’ve spent more than a decade shaping the growth of iconic titles. From helping first-time creators monetize their debut games, to bringing world-class IPs from Hasbro, Paramount, Legendary, and Sony Pictures into the hands of top studios such as Rivergame, Candivore, 37Games, and Tencent Studios—we’ve proven what’s possible when creativity meets global expertise.

Yodo1 Games is raising the bar: transforming great titles into lasting franchises that define gaming for generations. Drawing on experience with successes like Transformers: Earth Wars, Rodeo Stampede, and Ski Safari, we provide the systems, partnerships, and global reach that help visionary developers build worlds players will return to for decades.

Joining Yodo1 Games means more than a job—it means becoming part of a team that lives and breathes games, works with some of the most talented creators in the industry, and is driven by a mission to shape the future of gaming.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Yodo1 is looking for a highly credible Head of Business Development to scale our adtech business.

This is a player-coach role, not a management-only position. You will personally open doors, lead the most important negotiations, close strategic customers, and build a repeatable sales system that helps the wider BD team perform at a much higher level.

You should already know the market, understand how mobile studios make monetization decisions, and have trusted relationships with founders, executives, publishing leaders, and monetization teams.

WHAT WE EXPECT

You will:

  • Personally originate and close strategic accounts through your own network, targeted outbound, industry relationships, and executive-level selling.
  • Build a qualified enterprise pipeline focused on high-value mobile game and app studios that fit our product and commercial model.
  • Own the full sales process, from account strategy and discovery through commercial negotiation, A/B testing, contracting, and handoff.
  • Create a repeatable sales methodology covering ICP, qualification, discovery, value proposition, objection handling, deal strategy, and closing.
  • Turn the existing BD team into stronger closers through weekly coaching, call reviews, roleplay, pipeline inspection, and direct deal support.
  • Set a high performance bar for pipeline quality, sales activity, conversion, deal size, speed, and forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with Product and Customer teams to bring customer insight into product decisions and convert performance evidence into stronger sales narratives.
  • Represent Yodo1 externally at major industry events, executive meetings, and strategic partner discussions.
  • Build the future commercial organization, including hiring, roles, territories, compensation, and performance management as the business scales.
