Head of Business Growth
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £75,000 + Quarterly Success Pool
At Spondula, we're building a new global payments network that makes sending and receiving value as simple as sending a message.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a team, a sales pipeline or an established playbook. You'll build it.
We're looking for someone who wants to create our Business Growth function from the ground up, working directly with the founders to acquire merchants, payment partners and businesses around the world.
If you're looking to manage an existing department, this probably isn't the role for you.
If you're excited by building something from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Build Spondula's Business Growth function from scratch.
- Develop and execute our merchant acquisition strategy.
- Win new business customers across multiple markets.
- Build relationships with payment partners and strategic partners.
- Help shape our payment gateway rollout.
- Work directly with the founders on commercial strategy.
- As the business grows, recruit and lead your own team.

We're looking for someone who has
- A proven track record of growing B2B businesses.
- Experience acquiring merchants, payment customers or enterprise clients.
- Strong commercial judgement.
- The ability to build processes rather than simply follow them.
- A desire to own a significant part of the company's future.
Fintech experience is helpful, but not essential. We care more about builders than industry labels.

Your success will be measured by the businesses you bring onto the network, the commercial relationships you develop and the long-term value you create.
