Primary purpose of position
The Head of Business Insights and Strategic Products is responsible for leading Leasys UK Business Intelligence, delivering high-quality business and market insight, and managing strategic projects to add new products into the Leasys portfolio. The role provides the Senior Management Team and Leasys HQ with timely, accurate, commercially relevant insight to support strategic decision making, sustainable growth and market competitiveness. The successful applicant will combine strong data capability with sound vehicle leasing market knowledge and the ability to translate insight into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Salary: £55k-£70k basic dependant on experience
Bonus: 10.5%
Location: 2 days in the office as a minimum (Coventry)

Job Deliverables
- Lead and manage the Leasys UK Business Intelligence function, including reporting standards, insight delivery and performance dashboards
- Provide strategic insight, market intelligence and recommendations to the Senior Management Team and Leasys HQ
- Lead the identification, development, feasibility assessment and implementation of new products within the Leasys portfolio
- Own and prioritise the business insights, market intelligence and strategic product roadmap
- Ensure data governance, reporting integrity, GDPR compliance and clear management of product project risks

Necessary actions to achieve deliverables
- Lead and manage the Business Intelligence team, ensuring clear priorities, consistent delivery standards and strong stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, Operations, Risk and senior stakeholders across all business areas
- Implement and continuously improve modern BI tools, dashboards, analytics methodologies and insight reporting routines
- Translate complex data, market findings and competitor activity into clear, concise business recommendations
- Attend and contribute to industry forums, trade association meetings and external market events to gather insight and represent Leasys professionally
Required Knowledge and Skills
Foreign Language skills: Not essential.
Education level, professional qualifications, vocational training:
Education: Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' vehicle leasing industry experience, with demonstrable experience in business intelligence, analytics, market insight, data-led strategy, and/or product development in a commercial environment.

Technical skills: Data analytics, BI tools (e.g. Power BI), SQL or similar, strong commercial acumen, vehicle leasing market knowledge, stakeholder management, executive-level presentation skills, and strong project management capability to deliver new and innovative products into the business.
Personal characteristics: Strategic thinking, market curiosity, strong communication and presentation skills, leadership capability, commercial judgement, innovation mindset and the confidence to represent Leasys externally.
