The Role
Flint is seeking a Head of Business Operations to lead the firm’s internal operational functions and drive continuous improvement across its processes, infrastructure, and governance. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this senior, hands-on role is responsible for facilities and office management, company secretarial and procurement matters, insurance, trademarks, ESG reporting, and M&A integration. The postholder will also lead and develop Flint’s international Office Management team, providing line management to Office Managers across its global locations and acting as a trusted partner to the COO.
As Flint has grown across London, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, its operational infrastructure requires greater professionalisation to support an increasingly complex, multi-jurisdictional business. At the same time, the firm’s active M&A agenda has created additional integration demands. This newly created role provides dedicated ownership of internal operations, with the opportunity to strengthen processes, governance, and ways of working to support Flint’s continued international growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global office operations:
- Manage and develop Flint’s Office Managers, ensuring consistent standards across all locations for facilities, environment, and health and safety.
- Oversee property portfolio:
- Lead property selection, landlord negotiations, lease management, renewals, and office expansions, relocations, and fit-outs.
- Manage facilities budgets:
- Ensure cost discipline and value for money across Flint’s global office network.
Company Secretariat and Internal Procurement
- Manage UK Companies House filings, UK entity support, and books management, ensuring statutory compliance across Flint’s UK legal entities.
- Support the set-up of new legal entities as required by Flint’s expansion into new markets.
- Oversee approvals and management for Flint’s own procurement activities, including lease management for equipment and services (e.g. printers, office equipment).
- Manage HK and Singapore bank approvals and provide support to local operational matters as required.
Insurance (Non-HR)
- Manage Flint’s non-HR insurance portfolio, including professional indemnity, property and contents, and other relevant commercial policies.
- Own the broker relationship, conducting regular reviews to ensure Flint’s coverage remains appropriate, competitively priced, and aligned to the firm’s risk profile.
- Manage renewal processes across all policies, coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information to insurers.
- Maintain oversight of any additional local insurance requirements across Flint’s international offices, ensuring adequate coverage in all jurisdictions.
Trademarks
- Manage Flint’s trademark portfolio, maintaining an up-to-date register of all registered and pending marks across relevant jurisdictions.
- Liaise with external lawyers on trademark matters, including the registration of new marks (e.g. in the US and Australia) and the management of any disputes or challenges.
- Monitor for potential infringements and coordinate with legal advisers to take appropriate protective action where necessary.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
