Forward Role are partnering with a global organisation who are seeking a Head of People Partnering & Talent to join them in a new role on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the HR Director, you'll lead a team supporting complex, multi-site operations across a mix of frontline, distribution and corporate functions. In this role you'll be translating people strategy into initiatives that enhance organisational performance, capability and colleague experience, across all of its UK locations.
As HR Business Partnering and Talent come together as one function, you'll own clear accountability across the whole employee lifecycle — from onboarding through to development, performance, reward, engagement and retention.

What you'll be doing
- Leading commercially focused HR partnering and L&D teams, devising people plans, org design, workforce planning and restructuring
- Strengthening onboarding, leadership development and internal career pathways
- Driving colleague experience and engagement and retention across a dispersed, frontline-heavy workforce
- Owning core people programmes: performance management, reward, job evaluation and annual pay cycles
- Acting as the connective tissue between HR Operations, Shared Services and Centres of Expertise
What we're looking for

- Proven experience leading HR Business Partnering and Talent (L&D, Engagement, Reward) in complex, multi-site environments
- A track record of linking people strategy to genuine business performance, not just activity
- Experience working across geographically dispersed, operational and frontline workforces
- A leader who's as comfortable in the detail as they are in the room with senior stakeholders
This role offers real influence over organisational performance, capability and colleague experience, coming from the ownership across partnering, talent, reward and engagement.
