If you’re a Senior Buying & Merchandising professional who enjoys shaping strategy, developing teams, building strong brand partnerships and driving commercial performance, this could be a really exciting opportunity.
Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Leadership Team, you’ll have significant influence over the product strategy, profitability and stock investment across the business.
This isn't simply about managing an existing buying function. It’s about looking at the bigger picture — the brands, the product, the customer, the stores and the commercial opportunity — and helping shape what comes next.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing the buying & merchandising strategy
- Creating long-term category and seasonal commercial plans
- Leading all buying functions across the group
- Owning OTB planning across all departments
- Driving sales, margin, stock turn and sell-through
- Overseeing forecasting, replenishment, stock allocation and markdown strategies
- Developing the brand portfolio and identifying new brand opportunities
- Building and managing strategic supplier and concession partnerships
- Negotiating with key brands and suppliers
- Managing departmental budgets and stock investment
- Using data and analytics to drive commercial decision-making
- Leading, developing and mentoring a high-performing commercial team
I'm looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 10 years' senior Buying & Merchandising experience
- Comes from a premium retail or quality branded retail background
- Must have proven experience leading large multi-category buying teams at Buyer level
- Has strong commercial and financial acumen
- Has managed multi-category stock budgets
- Has a proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth
- Has strong supplier negotiation and relationship management experience
- Has experience leading merchandising and planning functions
- Has excellent strategic planning and analytical capability

Location & eligibility
Northern Ireland-based candidates, or candidates who are willing to relocate to Northern Ireland, will be considered.
Remote working is not available for this position.
Candidates must also have the right to work in the UK.
