I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We're particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have built their careers within licensed consumer products, branded goods, retail, toys, gifting, apparel, accessories or other fast-paced product-led environments.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience within Buying, Merchandising, Inventory Planning or Supply Chain leadership.
  • A strong commercial mindset with responsibility for forecasting, purchasing, stock investment and margin optimisation.
  • Experience building and managing international supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to make commercially sound decisions.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions and contribute at Senior Leadership Team level.

More than anything, we're looking for someone who enjoys improving businesses. Someone who is naturally curious, commercially astute and motivated by making a measurable difference rather than simply maintaining the status quo.

In return, you'll join an ambitious organisation that combines the agility of an entrepreneurial business with the scale and ambition to continue investing in its future. You'll enjoy genuine autonomy, direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a visible impact on the continued growth of the business.
