Head of Care
Location: Long Stratton, Norfolk, NR15 2UY
Salary: £33,280 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends

At The Mayfields Care Home, we're looking for an exceptional Head of Care to help lead our dedicated team and ensure we continue delivering outstanding, person-centred care to our residents.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior care professional who is passionate about dementia care, leadership, and making a genuine difference every day. As Head of Care, you will work closely with the Home Management Team to support the day-to-day running of the home, lead and develop care staff, and help maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, supporting and inspiring our care team
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of clinical care
- Supporting staff development through coaching, supervision and training
- Working collaboratively with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Supporting care planning, audits, compliance and quality improvement initiatives
- Helping to create a positive, professional and compassionate culture throughout the home
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a senior care leadership role within a residential, or dementia care setting
- Strong understanding of care quality, compliance and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- A positive role model who can motivate and develop others
- Passion for delivering outstanding resident outcomes
- A commitment to continuous professional development
