About Us:
At 360 Care Group, we are a growing specialist provider of community care, supported living, complex care, children’s services and respite support across the UK.
We are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enables people to live safer, healthier and more independent lives.
Quality, safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. Our values of Building Trust, Listening, Exceeding Expectations, Empowering Independence and Pioneering guide how we work with the people we support, their families and our teams.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Care and Clinical Operations to join our senior leadership team and support the continued growth of 360 Care Group.
Reporting to the Head of Governance & Clinical Strategy, you will lead and support Registered Managers, Regional Managers and operational leaders, with responsibility for quality, safety, service performance and continuous improvement.
The role includes increasing Nominated Individual responsibility following successful completion of probation, alongside regular national travel to our services.
Key Duties:
- Provide visible, values-led leadership across care and operational services.
- Lead, support and hold Registered Managers, Regional Managers and operational leaders accountable for performance, quality and service delivery.
- Maintain oversight of safeguarding, serious incidents, risk and regulatory compliance, ensuring concerns are appropriately escalated and resolved.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments, behaviour support plans, audits and quality checks are effective, current and embedded in practice.
- Monitor quality, performance and operational data to identify risks, trends, variation and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure learning from incidents, safeguarding concerns, audits and feedback is translated into meaningful and measurable improvement.
- Oversee workforce safety, staffing levels, competence, training, supervision and workforce risks across services.
- Ensure services remain CQC inspection-ready and regulatory requirements are understood, met and evidenced.
- Maintain oversight of governance information, including incidents, safeguarding, complaints, audits, quality indicators, actions and service risks.
- Build effective relationships with commissioners, local authorities, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Develop managers through coaching, professional challenge, reflective practice and succession planning.
- Monitor service performance and sustainability, challenging decisions where quality, safety or continuity of care could be compromised.
- Work collaboratively across Care, Clinical, Governance, Coordination and wider operational teams to ensure clear ownership and effective decision-making.
- Take on increasing Nominated Individual responsibilities across services following successful completion of probation.
- Participate in senior on-call arrangements and act as a senior point of escalation where significant operational, safeguarding or quality risks arise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
