Your Role:
- You will be leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- You will be driving efficiency through process improvement and the adoption of modern finance technologies, including enterprise resource planning systems, forecasting tools, and artificial intelligence.
- You will be overseeing monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis for internal stakeholders and the parent company.
- You will be owning financial governance, including internal controls, statutory audits, Sarbanes Oxley controls, and the development of robust financial control frameworks.
- You will be leading business partnering activities across central and garrison teams, supporting commercial and project finance functions with forecasting and commentary.
- You are a member of the Extended Leadership Team, championing organisational values, innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and support to the Finance Director.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA and be degree educated.
- Experience: You will have a proven track record of managing teams within a commercial business environment, supported by strong technical accounting knowledge, commercial awareness, and experience of VAT and Construction Industry Scheme requirements.
- Skills: You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, strong leadership capability, advanced Microsoft Excel and systems knowledge, and the ability to adapt, organise effectively, and challenge constructively.
