Head of Central Operations - UK
Salary: up to £100,000 + package
This is not your traditional Head of Central Operations role.
We're looking for an exceptional, commercially minded operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-change retail environments and is energised by the challenge of making things happen at pace.
This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the wider business. You'll lead and shape central operations, drive operational performance and work closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the UK to ensure the business continues to move forward at speed.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the central operations function, bringing pace, structure and commercial focus to a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Drive operational excellence across the UK, identifying opportunities to improve performance, consistency and efficiency.
- Partner with senior leadership and operational teams to turn strategy into action.
- Challenge existing ways of working and introduce practical, scalable solutions.
- Lead through change, ambiguity and competing priorities without losing momentum.
- Use data, insight and commercial understanding to identify opportunities and deliver measurable results.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and influence at all levels.
- Spend significant time travelling across the UK, being visible and connected to the operation.

What we're looking for
This role will suit someone who is agile, resilient and comfortable operating at pace. You'll need the energy and adaptability to work in an environment where priorities can change quickly and where no two days are the same.
You'll ideally bring:
- A strong background in fast-paced retail operations.
- Significant experience in central operations, ideally within a complex, multi-site retail environment.
- Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- A highly commercial and results-driven approach.
- The ability to move quickly from identifying an issue to implementing a solution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balanced with excellent practical judgement.
- A hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up approach and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
- A genuine willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK.
