About the role

  • Reporting to the COO, this role is responsible for the Argenta Group change culture and portfolio
  • As Group Head of Change, you will be working across the Argenta group looking at people, process, technology, and data
  • Working to improve our broker and customer experience, as well as improving our colleague’s user journeys and transforming our capabilities to support the Group Strategy
  • Managing a team of senior change professionals with expertise in the Lloyd’s market
  • Manage an established change portfolio to ensure delivery on time and on budget
  • You will own the overall change budget, liaising with key stakeholders across Finance, IT, Data and the wider business to plan and manage it with appropriate controls and reporting mechanisms in place to establish appropriate budgets, prioritise spend and maximise the return on investment
  • As part of strategic planning, you will review, create and manage a roadmap for the transformation of the organisation, working with the Head of Strategy, COO, CTO and function leads to define it and maintain it as it evolves in line with the strategy
  • You will oversee a robust PMO function and evolve the change management framework
  • As part of the Change culture, you will define, develop and implement function-led change framework(s) covering topics such as continuous improvement, process improvement and other federated change approaches.
  • Your role will be working with complex stakeholder relationships, being able to clearly articulate and share the business strategy with both senior leaders and the wider team

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a group change function and delivering business benefits through change by engaging with wider ASML business functions; Argenta Group functions; Lloyd’s; and third party vendors
  • Providing direction, establishing and leading a fully effective change team (PMO, Project Managers, Business Analysts, etc.) including responsibility for resourcing, performance management, coaching and developing team members
  • Responsibility for the administration and development of the Argenta Group Change Management framework
  • Overseeing an appropriate strategic forum (currently Portfolio Review Group) to ensure the Change strategy and portfolio is driven by the business to deliver the Group Strategy
  • Delivering portfolio and project level reporting to established committees and working groups. Recommend adjustments to the governance approach and manage the group as necessary
  • Some hands-on delivery of large and complex projects
  • Accountable for the establishment and administration of formal project Committee/Steering/Working groups
  • Establishing and maintain positive relationships with vendors to support the delivery and ongoing maintenance of the projects
  • Providing the business with information on market and sector trends and advancements which can support the business’ objectives
  • Establishing an approach and delivery of testing including arranging support for testing with technical and business experts and management of defect resolution
  • Drive the Change communications strategy (liaising with the Head of Communications)
  • Providing general support for the COO
  • Undertake any other related duties as may be reasonably required.

Skills & Experience

  • An established, dynamic and forward thinking individual with London Market and Lloyd’s syndicate change management leadership experience with at least fifteen years of relevant experience working as an established change leader
  • You will have excellent knowledge and experience of large-scale change and transformation in the Lloyd’s market and an understanding of the associated risks, budgetary control, and the creation of a team to support the business strategy
  • Proven experience in underwriting transformations, pricing, data transformations, TOM transformations, through data led, technology enabled solutioning. Coupled with experience in both short-term improvements and long-term strategic planning.
  • Experience with supporting senior stakeholders and effectively conducting project / program governance including accurate and relevant reports up to Board level
  • Experience with vendor management (preferable with established long-term relationships) related to ensuring effective support for project delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with diverse teams, gain cooperation and influence without authority.
  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management tools and technologies
  • Preferably ACII or graduate level with change management and analytical skills.
  • Prince II qualification and or PMO certification is preferred
  • Self-motivated with drive and enthusiasm requiring minimal direction and supervision
  • Has a positive, analytical approach to problems and benign a provider of solutions
  • Capable of developing and maintaining effective relationships at all levels
