Join Travel Counsellors at a hugely exciting moment in our journey. As AI reshapes how businesses work, grow, serve customers and unlock new value, we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Change to help us turn bold ambition into practical, human-centred transformation.

This is a pivotal role for someone who loves big-picture thinking, practical delivery and people-led change. You’ll help us imagine what Travel Counsellors could become in an AI-enabled world, then work with leaders, colleagues and our global community of Travel Counsellors to make that future feel clear, achievable and exciting.

You’ll be at the heart of one of our most important transformation priorities: helping the business rethink how workflows, how decisions are made, how teams collaborate, and how AI can strengthen the care, trusted advice and personal relationships that make Travel Counsellors so special. This is not about introducing technology for technology’s sake. It is about creating better experiences, simpler ways of working and stronger outcomes for our customers, Travel Counsellors, colleagues and partners.

Why this role. Why now.

  • Shape the future of work at TC: Help design how people, process, systems, skills and decision-making evolve in an AI-enabled organisation.
  • Protect what makes us special: Use AI to strengthen - not replace - the human care, trusted advice and personal relationships at the heart of Travel Counsellors.
  • Lead global change with real impact: Partner across functions, markets and communities to turn strategy into confident adoption, measurable benefits and lasting business value.
  • Build capability, confidence and momentum: Help leaders, colleagues and Travel Counsellors understand, embrace and use new ways of working with clarity, pace and care.
  • Join a business with ambition: Be part of a growing, international, values-led travel technology business that is investing in innovation, community and sustainable growth.
  • Create change that feels human: Make transformation engaging, inclusive and practical, ensuring people feel involved, supported and confident as we build what comes next.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the global, business-wide AI change programme, creating a clear blueprint for a future AI-centric operating model across people, process and systems.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, Technology, Product, People, Learning, Communications, Operations and Travel Counsellor-facing teams to turn strategic priorities into practical, well-governed change plans.
  • Challenge assumptions and help the business rethink workflows, roles, skills, routines and decision-making so we can unlock the best of human + AI working.
  • Lead and coordinate AI Enablement Business Partners to support change across functions and markets, making sure activity is joined up, practical and focused on adoption.
  • Create compelling change stories, leadership briefings, workshops, feedback loops and engagement activity that help people understand what is changing, why it matters and how they can be part of it.
  • Support responsible AI adoption, ensuring new tools and ways of working are introduced with the right guidance, governance, data protection, inclusion and human oversight.
  • Build change capability across the organisation by coaching leaders, developing change champions and creating simple tools that help teams lead change well.
  • Track readiness, adoption, confidence, sentiment and benefits, using insight to remove blockers, adapt plans and show the difference change is making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What success looks like

  • A clear, practical AI change roadmap that helps Travel Counsellors move from ambition to confident action.
  • Colleagues, leaders and Travel Counsellors feel informed, involved and supported through change.
  • New tools, processes and behaviours are adopted in a way that improves productivity, service, confidence and customer outcomes.
  • Change activity is well-governed, measurable and connected to business value.
  • Responsible AI principles are embedded, with the right balance of pace, innovation, care and control.
  • The One TC community feels strengthened by transformation, not disrupted by it.
  • Leaders across the business are equipped to tell a clear change story, build confidence in their teams and create the conditions for adoption to stick.

Who we’re looking for

  • A brilliant change leader with experience delivering complex transformation in a customer-led, multi-stakeholder or digitally enabled organisation.
  • Someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, simplify complexity and create momentum without losing empathy or care.
  • A confident communicator who can engage senior stakeholders, build sponsorship and create change narratives that land well with different audiences.
  • A curious, future-focused thinker who understands how AI can reshape work, decision-making, knowledge sharing and service delivery.
  • A practical operator who can translate big ideas into roadmaps, impact assessments, readiness plans, learning activity, communications and measurable adoption.
  • Someone who cares deeply about responsible AI, inclusion, data protection, governance and the human impact of transformation.
  • A natural collaborator who can work across functions, markets and communities, bringing people with them at pace.
  • A trusted senior partner who can influence at leadership level while staying close enough to the detail to understand what colleagues and Travel Counsellors need on the ground.

About you

You’re energised by what AI can make possible, but you’re equally passionate about making change feel human, useful and safe. You can zoom out to imagine a better future, then zoom in to understand what people need to feel confident, capable and ready to adopt new ways of working.

You bring pace, clarity and curiosity. You ask brilliant questions, connect dots across the business and know how to turn uncertainty into action. Above all, you care about people. You understand that the best transformation happens when people feel included, supported and excited about what comes next.

You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is fully defined. You can build the plan while helping others see the direction of travel, and you know how to balance ambition with pragmatism, innovation with governance, and pace with care.

Experience that would help you shine

  • Significant experience in change management, organisational development, business transformation, technology adoption, HR, learning, operations or a related discipline.
  • Experience in digital transformation, technology adoption or AI-enabled change would be highly desirable.
  • A recognised change qualification, such as Prosci, ADKAR or APMG Change Management, would be helpful but is not essential.
  • Project, programme or agile delivery experience, such as PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM or Scrum, would be beneficial.
  • Good awareness of responsible AI, data protection, information security, ethical technology and change governance.
  • Experience in the travel sector is a bonus, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead change with care, credibility and impact.
