ABOUT US
Halfords is on a journey - building the future of motoring and cycling and looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. We’re a place for co-creators: people who want to make a real impact, take ownership and be part of something that’s still evolving. Halfords Group plc has transformed from a £1.1bn cycling retailer into a £1.7bn motoring and cycling-led retail, service and B2B business. This growth is underpinned by a major transformation portfolio, spanning ERP replacement, supply chain integration and operating model change. This role sits at the heart of ensuring that change lands.
As the UK’s leading retailer of motoring and cycling products, we’re supported by one of the country’s largest independent vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair networks through Halfords Autocentres. This breadth gives us a strong, stable foundation - and the freedom to keep innovating and growing.
That means real variety for our colleagues, along with the opportunity to learn, stretch and develop as the business moves forward. Whatever your role, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional service - using your expertise to solve problems, guide customers and help keep the nation moving with confidence.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will lead the change agenda across Halfords major transformation portfolio, working across Retail, Autocentres, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Digital, Data and Technology. You will lead an established change team and partner with Project Directors and Executive Sponsors to build readiness, manage adoption risk and ensure benefits are realised and sustained.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
