AD Energy is collaborating with a leading Energy manufacturer, which is expanding its team with a critical, key hire.

The business is a global leader in Clean Energy, with a worldwide presence. This is a pivotal role in the growth of the UK and I team. We need someone who can guide and execute our strategy with Distribution and Channel partners.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Reporting to the EU Sales Director on all relevant operational and commercial strategies
  • Taking full commercial sales and business development responsibility across the UK with wholesalers and electrical distribution businesses
  • Undertaking deep market research for strategy refinement and business planning
  • Preparing annual plans, monthly sales and sales reports
  • Effectively implementing and executing market sales/commercial strategy
  • Leading and executing a continuous Research and Development plan with regards to new products
  • Pursuing a proactive market approach for new client acquisition
  • Keeping abreast of influencing market drivers, competitive market factors that might potentially effect company market share
  • Successfully and actively working on increasing market share, as well as team growth
  • Constantly hiring and attracting world-class talent across all disciplines
  • Being an advocate for the brand and company, being fully immersed with the product portfolio and developments
  • Participating in industry exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and relevant meetings as a leading company representative

Key Requirements:

  • Degree-educated within Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy, and Renewables
  • A minimum of 8 years’ local leadership experience within the Energy sector, ideally Solar
  • In-depth and extensive market knowledge and technical product ability, enthusiasm for innovation
  • Direct commercial experience and knowledge about the Energy sector would be advantageous
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Exceptional business acumen, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strategic and flexible nature, able to adapt accordingly to high-pressure and dynamic market
  • Ability to prioritize high-priority demands and workloads, working effectively in an intense environment
  • Detail-oriented, a good problem solver, and exceptional motivator
  • Growth-focused, and keen to grow an expanding business
  • Fluent English language ability

On offer is a salary of between 55,000 - 60,000, with a strong uncapped bonus and the chance to join a business that is performing well despite the challenging market conditions.
