Senior Childcare Solicitor: Panel Accredited

Opportunity to Establish a New Childcare Department and Coventry Office

Coventry Senior Level Excellent Career Opportunity

Are you an experienced Childcare Solicitor with Children Panel accreditation who is ready for the next step in your career?

Perhaps you have reached the point where you want more than simply managing your own caseload. Maybe you have the ambition, drive and client following to build something of your own, but would prefer to do so with the backing and support of an established law firm.

If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Childcare Solicitor / Children Panel Accredited Lawyer to establish a brand new Childcare Department and Coventry office.

This is not simply a role within an existing team. You will have the opportunity to build the department from the ground up, helping shape the strategy, develop the client base, recruit your team and establish the firm's presence in Coventry.

The Opportunity

You will take a lead role in developing the firm's childcare offering, initially handling your own high-quality caseload while playing a key part in establishing the new office. The role will give you considerable autonomy and the opportunity to make your mark, with support from the wider firm and the resources required to develop a successful practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
