Northampton Vets for Pets Hospital

At Northampton Vets for Pets Hospital we're committed to delivering exceptional care, not just for our patients, but for every client who walks through our doors. As a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital, we're looking for an experienced Head of Client Services to lead our client-facing teams and ensure every interaction reflects the highest standards of service, compassion and professionalism.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring leader who thrives on developing people, driving continuous improvement and creating outstanding customer experiences.

The role is full-time working 40 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis. The salary for this role is up to £45k depending on experience.

The Role

Reporting to Practice Owners, you'll take ownership of the entire client journey, leading our Client Services teams to deliver a consistent, first-class experience from first contact through to aftercare.

Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, you'll use client feedback, performance data and your own expertise to enhance our services, improve processes and support the continued growth of the hospital.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading and developing our client-facing teams to deliver exceptional service every day.
  • Creating a positive, welcoming and professional experience for clients, pets and referring practices.

  • Driving service improvements through client feedback, KPIs and operational insight.
  • Managing complaints with empathy and efficiency, turning feedback into meaningful improvements.
  • Supporting marketing, social media and community engagement to strengthen our local reputation.
  • Collaborating with clinical and operational teams to improve workflows and service delivery.
  • Supporting business performance through effective resource planning, financial awareness and operational excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
