About Virtue Vets

At Virtue Vets, we're reimagining what a visit to the vet should feel like.

We're building a different kind of veterinary group across London, where exceptional clinical care is matched by genuine hospitality, beautiful spaces and a better experience for pets and the people who love them. Every detail, from the design of our clinics to the way we welcome clients, has been thoughtfully created to make veterinary care feel calmer, kinder and more personal.

We're growing quickly, with ambitious plans to open 50 clinics across the UK and expand internationally. That means there's a real opportunity to join us at an exciting stage, make your mark and help shape the future of modern veterinary care.

If you're someone who enjoys building, improving and being part of something that's genuinely different, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

At Virtue Vets, we believe exceptional care starts long before a consultation begins. The moment a client walks through our doors, they should feel confident they're in a safe, welcoming and beautifully maintained environment.

We're looking for an experienced Head of Clinic Standards & Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping efforts across London. This role is about much more than cleaning—it's about creating consistently exceptional clinical environments that reflect the high standards of care we deliver every day.

You'll lead our housekeeping efforts and in-house cleaners, develop operational standards, coach and support colleagues, and ensure every clinic consistently delivers an outstanding experience for pets, clients and our teams.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes genuine pride in creating immaculate environments and has experience working in healthcare, veterinary or other highly regulated settings where cleanliness and attention to detail are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Our Housekeeping Teams

    • Recruit, lead, coach and develop housekeeping colleagues across all clinics.
    • Build a culture of pride, accountability and exceptional standards.
    • Support managers with performance, training and development.
  • Maintain Exceptional Standards

    • Ensure every clinic is presented to the highest possible standard, every day.
    • Lead regular quality audits and inspections across all locations.
    • Take ownership of presentation, cleanliness and organisation throughout our clinics.
    • Drive continuous improvement in housekeeping standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
