The Company:

Fertifa is a leading provider of employee benefits, covering all underserved areas of healthcare. Fertifa fills the gaps between PMI provision and general practice healthcare to offer inclusive and comprehensive health benefits for all employees, in one place. Our mission is to make personal healthcare accessible for all individuals, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, or relationship status.

We have a long-standing legacy of providing reproductive health and neurodiversity clinical support to global Enterprises and SMEs alike. Today, our services extend across fertility and family-forming, maternity and non-urgent infant care, menopause, women’s and men’s reproductive health, neurodiversity, mental wellbeing and lifestyle health (including weight management), offering clinical and wellbeing support, educational resources, and financial assistance, all through our Fertifa app.

After acquiring Juniper Reproductive Health and completing a seed extension in 2025, we are now entering an exciting phase of growth. As we scale, we’re building a team of mission-driven, high-performing individuals passionate about transforming employer-funded healthcare.

Our next step in the journey? We’re looking for a Head of Clinical Services (maternity cover) to provide maternity cover.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team at Fertifa, a fast-growing health-tech making a real impact in people’s lives. Our team is made up of highly knowledgeable, compassionate, and accredited clinical professionals who specialise in all of our areas of coverage.

As the Head of Clinical Services (Mat Cover), you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our virtual clinic, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency across all pathways, including leadership of our clinical services team. You will be operating beyond direct clinical delivery to also progress the building and scaling of a robust clinical system. This includes managing our multidisciplinary team, defining clinical boundaries, and ensuring we meet all professional and national regulatory standards to the highest calibre.

Because our clinical team is often the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in providing expert guidance, mentorship, and leadership to further the team’s continuous development as well as its effectiveness with stakeholder management across other functions of the business and our external stakeholders, including clinic partners.

This is a dynamic role within a fast-growing health-tech environment. We are looking for a proactive leader who values initiative, flexibility, and innovation. If you are a mission-driven professional eager to make a difference alongside some of the best in the field, we’d love to hear from you.

This role reports directly to the Executive Director, working closely with our Medical Director and patient advisors, while collaborating across the wider company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of best-in-class clinical care, through efficient, high-quality operational leadership of Fertifa’s virtual clinic, ensuring seamless patient journeys from triage, consultation to follow up and wraparound support.
  • Define and enforce clear clinical guard rails and scopes of practice for the team, ensuring that all staff operate safely within the professional registrations.
  • Provide the team with guidance on complex cases and support their clinical decision-making across all service areas.
  • Manage the team in a data-driven way to track performance and identify areas for service development.
  • Lead the clinical team through regular 1-to-1s, appraisals, and performance reviews, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Optimise the use of internal tools (e.g., Fertifa App, Semble) to ensure the clinical team is working efficiently and at scale.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new clinical team members in partnership with the People Team.
  • Assist in building strategic relationships with partners and diagnostic providers across the UK.
  • Participate in creating and delivering educational materials for employers and employees registered with Fertifa.
  • Collaborate with other Fertifa departments (Sales, Product, Marketing) to provide clinical insights and lead internal education sessions.
  • Ensure clinical documentation is accurate, prompt, and compliant with GDPR.
  • Stay abreast of the evolving regulatory environment to ensure Fertifa remains compliant. Act as a lead for gaining and retaining certifications such as ISO, etc.
  • Ensure successful launch and ongoing management of any new potential clinical pathways in collaboration with the Medical Director.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
