About CloudiQS
CloudiQS is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner focused exclusively on Amazon Web Services. We help organisations Build, Protect, Operate, Optimise, and Grow on AWS through outcome-led services, AWS funding programmes, and deep technical expertise.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Head of Cloud Delivery to lead our engineering organisation and build a world-class delivery capability.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building teams, improving delivery, and creating operational excellence within a fast-growing cloud business.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of every CloudiQS customer engagement.
You will lead our engineering organisation, build delivery processes, develop our technical capability, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.
You will work closely with our Head of Growth to ensure a seamless transition from sales into delivery and long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the CloudiQS Engineering and Delivery organisation.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing technical team.
- Manage AWS Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, AI Engineers, Security Engineers, and Full Stack Developers.
- Own customer delivery from project handover through to successful completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Build repeatable delivery methodologies across all CloudiQS products.
- Manage engineering capacity, utilisation, and resource planning.
- Develop technical standards, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Improve delivery quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
- Work with the Head of Growth during customer discovery, solution design, and project handover.
- Support the development of new CloudiQS products and technical capabilities.
- Build a delivery organisation capable of scaling from a small team into a world-class AWS consultancy.

As CloudiQS scales, dedicated Product Leads will be introduced, reporting into the Head of Cloud Delivery.
Essential Experience
- Experience leading engineering or cloud delivery teams.
- Experience within an AWS Partner, Cloud Consultancy, MSP, or Professional Services organisation.
- Experience managing Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Engineers.
- Experience delivering AWS cloud migration, modernisation, or managed services projects.
- Experience managing offshore engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of AWS architecture and cloud technologies.
- Experience improving engineering processes and delivery quality.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing project profitability, utilisation, and delivery performance.
Desirable
- AWS Professional or Speciality Certification.
- Experience delivering AI and Amazon Bedrock solutions.
- Experience with AWS Security, Well-Architected Reviews, and Managed Services.
- Experience building technical teams within a growing business.
- Experience creating delivery frameworks and engineering standards.
