Help us continue to build the UK's most progressive personal training system.

Roar integrates world-class personal training with nutrition, recovery and performance to help our members live healthier, stronger and longer lives.

Our ambition is to become recognised as a global leader in the boutique fitness space, known not only for exceptional member experiences and outcomes, but for developing elite level coaches.

To support our continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Head of Coaching, Recovery & Performance to join our leadership team.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of coaching within a business that values education, innovation and continuous improvement.

About the Role

This is not a traditional Fitness Manager or Head Trainer position.

You'll be responsible for leading and developing our City of London coaching team, raising coaching standards, delivering ongoing education and helping shape the future of our recovery and performance offering.

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will maintain a premium portfolio of personal training and nutrition clients, ensuring you remain closely connected to the member experience whilst leading by example.

You'll also play a key role in developing our integrated recovery proposition, ensuring recovery becomes an integral part of every member's journey rather than a standalone service.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Coaching

  • Leading and mentoring the coaching team.
  • Developing coaching standards and best practice.
  • Helping develop and delivering an ongoing internal education programme.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and coach development.
  • Building a high-performance coaching culture.

Recovery

  • Developing our recovery proposition and memberships.
  • Integrating recovery into the wider coaching journey.
  • Supporting the implementation of new recovery technologies and services.
  • Helping members optimise performance through recovery and regeneration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
