Are you passionate about coffee and developing people?
We are looking for an experienced Head of Coffee to lead and elevate my client’s coffee offering across a portfolio of premium corporate sites in London. This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend your time working alongside teams, coaching baristas, maintaining exceptional standards, and ensuring every cup served reflects the quality and values of my client’s business.

The Role
As Head of Coffee, you will be responsible for developing the coffee programme while supporting and training baristas across multiple locations. You’ll be the coffee expert within the business, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on barista training and coaching across all sites.
- Develop and maintain coffee standards, recipes, and operating procedures.
- Support new site openings and train new team members.
- Assess barista skills and create tailored development plans.
- Carry out regular coffee quality audits and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with operational teams to drive consistency and excellence.
- Introduce seasonal coffee initiatives and menu developments.
- Build strong relationships with coffee suppliers and equipment partners.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues alongside service providers where required.
- Lead by example by working in operations and supporting teams during busy service periods.

About You
- Previous experience as a Head of Coffee, Coffee Trainer, Coffee Development Manager, or Senior Barista.
- Exceptional coffee knowledge, including extraction, milk texturing, calibration, and brewing methods.
- Passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
- Confident delivering engaging training sessions to individuals and groups.
- Strong understanding of specialty coffee standards and quality control.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
